For the new headquarters of the Guarot design studio in Prato, Urmet has provided its own integrated communication and security solutions, providing its own devices for the construction of video intercom, telephone, smart home systems integrated into the civil, anti-intrusion and video surveillance series.
The organisation of a large open space on independent premises with different uses leads to certain needs in terms of systems, just as the particular and careful architectural style of interiors and exteriors requires devices with a minimal, contemporary and consistent design.
At the level of video intercom devices, Urmet's proposal focused on the Mikra2 single-family push-button panel, compact, robust and minimal: the special customised finish in corten adapts perfectly to the aesthetics and materials used outside the building.
For the telephony management of the entire study, Urmet has proposed the iPerTAlk solution, the full-IP communication system that, exploiting IP technology, is able to integrate new communication services with traditional telephone features. For optimal workstation management, 3 videophones, 9 telephones and an iPerTAlk switchboard have been installed, specially designed to meet the multiple needs of companies and professional activities in terms of telephone services.
The minimal and contemporary design of the plates of the Nea Flexa line of the Simon Urmet civil series enhances the style of the interiors: available in 2,3,4 and 7 modules, chosen in the anthracite satin finish, they recall the metallic details present in the various environments.
The civil series plates are complemented by switches and sockets, but also integrated with more than 40 Yokis smart home devices:
- Electronic relay modules for managing lights or automation
- Electronic dimmer modules for managing the variation of the brightness of the lights, applied to rgb led strips
- Electronic shutter modules on double button, for the management of awnings.
For the management of the temperature regulation of the various environments, more units have been installed than the new Wi-Fi connected chronothermostat: the sensors for the measurement of humidity, carbon dioxide and tVOC allow accurate monitoring of air quality. Smart and simplified device management is guaranteed thanks to the possibility of control via smartphone/tablet through dedicated apps and through the most used voice assistants on the market.
The Yokis Hub device connects the entire system, allowing complete management of all smart devices both locally and remotely through the dedicated app.
In order to guarantee the safety of people and environments, Urmet has created the anti-intrusion system starting from the 1068 multifunctional system, which allows the mixed and simultaneous management of wireline and wireless devices and integration with video surveillance. The following have been installed with the 1068 bus control unit:
- Control keyboard with backlit LCD display
- GSM phone communicator with voice synthesis
- Dual technology detectors
- Self-powered external siren with flashing light, certified EN50131-4 grade 2
- Magnetic contacts for special uses, equipped with high power, for installations on iron structures similar to those present in the structure.
Urmet's CCTV solution focuses on the Building&Retail professional range, in particular the AI Plus series, whose strength lies in VDECT intelligent video analysis for advanced video surveillance features. Indoors and outdoors, bullet, turret and dome cameras have been installed with fixed and motorised optics according to specific needs, and a 16-channel NVR that can be fully managed by smartphones and tablets via a dedicated app.
