Urmet - an Italian company that designs and develops innovative technologies for the automation and safety of residential and industrial buildings - presents the new Yokis UP (Unlimited Power) series of devices, a significant evolution of its catalogue of solutions for the smart home.
The new Yokis UP range combines the reliability of a solid infrastructure solution with the versatility of Zigbee standard consumer devices, responding more effectively to the growing demands of the market in terms of energy efficiency, living comfort and safety.

The Yokis UP range consists of transmitters, actuators, gateways and the YnO UP management app.
The transmitters with Zigbee technology are multifunctional, that is, they are able to control all types of actuators, managing centralisation commands, activating scenarios and third-party devices. They are available in 3 versions: mobile (remote controls); built-in, to be used with the Simon Urmet civil series or with the existing one, in order to contain costs; wall-mounted, which do not require masonry works because they are applied with an adhesive.
In addition to dedicated devices, it is also possible to manage the Yokis UP ecosystem from Urmet's VOG line of monitors, thanks to the integrated Zigbee transmitter.
The receivers of the Yokis UP range have a double radio protocol:
- Zigbee, dedicated to communication between the modules, connected to each other in MESH mode to guarantee greater reliability, thanks to the ability of the individual modules to communicate directly with all the other modules, and enabling interaction with third-party devices;
- Bluetooth, for direct communication between the programming device and the modules and for simplified and quick configuration of the product features and its upgrades.
Gate-UP is the connection hub for smart home management: it is installed at the user's home to enable the YnO UP app to store centralisations and scenarios and to enable interaction with voice assistants available on the market, such as Alexa and Google Home.
The Yno UP application is used to control the devices of the entire ecosystem directly from your smartphone , with the possibility of creating centralisations and scenarios and of customising the functions of the modules to adapt them to daily needs and lifestyle. Lights, blinds and curtains can be activated. It is possible to adjust the temperature, consult the security sensors and surveillance cameras and activate the connected devices of other brands that interact with the Yokis UP system.
YnO UP is integrated into Urmet's VOG 7” connected monitor, which thus becomes the home automation monitor, the central point of the home from which it is possible to control all the functions, including communication and security
The solution is completed with the UP2Pro app and the SmartKey, dedicated to the professional installer for creation of the smart network and configuration of the Yokis modules.
